A split queen box spring is an alternative type of bed foundation that is designed to be used with a queen-size mattress. It is called a "split" box spring because it is divided into two separate pieces, each of which is half the width of a standard queen-size box spring.

This design allows the box spring to be more easily transported and maneuvered through tight spaces, such as narrow staircases or doorways. The two halves of a split queen box spring can be easily put together on a standard queen size steeel bed once they have been placed in the desired location.
