King size foundations come in two equal halves each 38" x 80" because if they were built as one solid piece they wouldn't fit up most people's stairs or around tight corners. (This is a good thing because making them in two distinct halves makes them stronger as well)

It took removal of seats and angling of products (the customer also bought a clear-out ($179 down from $599 upholstered headboard) to make it work but we did it!
