A family who visited the store from Toronto today had purchased four Italian designed wooden beds from another store. They were told that a cross slat system (as shown in the photo above) would be included with that purchase. None were provided which is crazy because the beds require slats to work properly but those were the cards the family was dealt.

After much thought I offered the solution making custom European size mattresses and foundations that would rest right on the floor inside their bed frames. The foundations needed to be the right height to overcome the side rails of their beds and yet still be the right width and length (slightly smaller than standard euro sizes) to drop easily inside.
