If the delivery team from a national chain store had to bend my king mattress too much to get it into my bedroom is it a problem?

Yes it is, and it happens all the time and worst of all you have no warranty because this is not the manufacturer’s problem it’s the chain store’s problem.
Hopefully you made a note on your invoice/ delivery receipt when they delivered it improperly, otherwise you are sadly out of luck.
