We recently had a mattress made for a customer who has an unusually tight staircase. They told us their current mattress had to be bent to get it up the stairs but we had no idea how much work that took (four movers and a piece of rope last time it turns out) until we arrived on delivery day and we were told they wanted the old one removed. We never considered this possibility as many customers do keep their old mattresses.

The lengths four of my staff went to solve this customer's problem is not something we offer as a service at any price but given the unique circumstances we agreed to attempt sawing their old mattress into more easily bendable pieces and we were luckily successful.
