It's rare that the power goes out in most urban areas but it can happen and it's no fun for the user to be stuck in a heads up position when they are trying to go to sleep. A UPS power supply can do trick for $175 and up but they only hold their charge for so long meaning you'll have to be home when the power goes out.

Our Supreme adjustable base comes with a plug in power outage module that replaces your normal AC power supply. It requires two 9 volt batteries (not included) that will move your base to the flat position at least one time.
