A checklist for a warranty claim on your mattress.
Mar. 14, 2019
  1. You must have a copy of your invoice.
  2. You must know the details of the warranty offered on your mattress
  3. Your mattress must be free of stains (there are companies that will come to your home and clean a mattress but that may not be sufficient) or you are guaranteed to have no coverage.
  4. You need to be able to prove your mattress had proper support as defined by the manufacturer.
  5. Your mattress must have been rotated head to toe at least three times a year since your purchases and flipped at least once a year for two sided models.
  6. You need to provide photographs clearly showing your mattress has dipped enough (without anyone on it) to qualify for warranty support (1.75 to 2.5 inches)
  7. You'll need to pay a fee to the maker of your mattress to have someone visit your house to verify your claim (this fee is sometimes refunded on a valid claim)
  8. If your claim is successful you'll be required to pay a delivery fee to pick up your mattress for repair or swap out your old mattress (at the maker's discretion) for its replacement and a second fee to dispose of the old one.
  9. Most manufacturers are reasonable if given a proper chance to validate your claim and their personnel are treated fairly. Some of the suppliers (mostly American based) Nine Clouds used to support are no longer displayed in our showroom because they do everything they can to evade warranty claims.
